Tipping point maybe where my body starts getting used to it. That’s what I thought half way through the day anyway. By the end of the day intense pain again. Blue ridge parkway was quite beautiful, but it was more of a totality thing, not something that can be captured in a single picture. Smells of the forest also don’t show up in pics. Steepest long downhill was crazy, and sharp corners, so my brakes got a workout. I was dropping my chain off the largest front chainring, so apparently my front derailuer still needs adjusting. Still better than it was, and really I don’t spend much time in my highest gear anyway. If I’m going that fast, it’s downhill, and I can just rest and coast. I was missing the country stores, so I kept eating Cliff bars and peanut butter and jelly on tortillas.
